Yangon United confirmed that Magwe FC defender Hein Htet Sithu has joined the squad with two-year contract, according to the team statement.
The 21-year-old defender has expressed his feeling about joining the well-known Myanmar domestic football club, Yangon United.
“I am proud to be here, and a dream come true. I will take time to adapt to the squad and learn from my senior players here. As the club already has its history and fans, I will serve more for this team”, said defender Hein Htet Sithu.
Hein Htet Sithu started his youth professional life at National Football Academy in Mandalay from 2010 to 2015. He was selected in Myanmar National League U-18 team in Myanmar National Youth League which was held in 2015. Next, he was offered by Magwe FC and played for U-21 team of Magwe FC for three consecutive years. Then he was selected for the senior squad of Magwe FC in 2019.
Again, he was chosen in Myanmar National teams and participated in Thanh Nien Newspaper International U-21 Competition in Viet Nam to secure the bronze medal for the team Myanmar.—GNLM
