Yangon Water Bus to resume

The Yangon Water Bus suspended for over two years will resume its services on 1 October, according to its statement on 19 July.
The arrangements are being made to resume the services of Yangon Water Bus on 1 October. It prepares 75 per cent of short trips and communicates with departments concerned, it said.
The main routes are Botahtaung, Pansodan, Lanthit, Sar Par Chaung and Arnt Gyi and fare can be made through KPay, CB Pay and Wave Pay.
The Tint Tint Myanmar started running the Yangon Water Bus service on 7 October 2017 from Insein to Botahtaung townships.
A total of 11 water buses carried about 100,000 passengers per month before the temporary suspension. — NN/GNLM
