YRIC greenlights 12 domestic, foreign enterprises on 30 Aug

The Yangon Region Investment Committee (YRIC) endorsed one domestic and 11 foreign enterprises in the manufacturing sector, with an estimated capital of over US$14.775 million and K2.054 billion at a meeting 8/2023 held on 30 August at the YRIC office, creating 9,216 jobs for residents.
Those enterprises will execute the manufacturing of clothes, apparel and down and feather and footwear on a Cutting, Making, and Packing (CMP) basis.
At the meeting, 15 companies raised general matters, including the expansion of capital by one enterprise.
Of 52 foreign countries investing in Myanmar, Singapore ranked first, followed by China and Thailand.
