The Zoological Garden (Yadanarbon) in Mandalay will be renovated as a place where visitors can relax and take it easy besides studying the animals according to an administrator of the Zoological Garden (Yadanarbon) U Thein Min Aung.
“A sport arena will be built that will include a water polo pool that visitors can use when they visit. Natural landscapes such as waterfalls and streams will also be created for the zoological garden. I invite all the people to come to visit and unwind at the Zoological Garden (Yadanarpon) because the zoo and park will be renovated and there will be new features” he added.
Another reason for revamping the zoological garden is to let visitors learn more about the importance of rare animal preservation and for them to share this information with others. Visitors can also learn about the importance of breeding techniques of particular species of animals. In addition, elephant dances and snake dances are shown every Sunday and another show featuring monkeys dancing will be arranged.
