Dinner ceremony held in honour of 77th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day

The 77th Anniversary of the Armed Forces Day Reception and Dinner Ceremony 2022 hosted by Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla yesterday evening in Nay Pyi Taw.
At the beginning of the dinner, fireworks were launched from the military parade ground and Bayintnaung Villa to mark the 77th Anniversary of the Armed Forces Day.
Also present were Vice- Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, SAC members, the Secretary and the Joint-Secretary of the Council, the Union Chief Justice, the Chairman of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, the Chairman of the Union Election Commission, Union Ministers, the Attorney-General of the Union, the Auditor-General of the Union, the Chairman of the Union Civil Service Board, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar and their wives, family members of the thirty comrades, family members of retired Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services, retired senior military officers (Army, Navy and Air) and their wives, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) and their wives, Independence Mawgun Award winners, Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union, Members of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, Members of the UEC and advisers, Deputy Ministers, Retired Military Personnel Ambassadors and their wives, Nay Pyi Taw Council members, parade commander, column commanders and commanding officers, foreign military attaches, representatives of ethnic armed groups that have signed the NCA, political party chairmen, families of winners in Aung San Thuriya title, Thiha Thura and Thura medals and gallantry medals, Members of the Myanmar War Veterans Organization and transformed people’s militia and members of the border guard central advisory board, officials from the Myanmar Police Force, the Fire Brigade and Myanmar Red Cross Society, officials from the ministries, military personnel (retired) who served at the respective ministries, artists who starred in the story in honour of Armed Forces Day, winners of military song, poem, short story and novel competitions, invited artistes, officials, students and teachers from the University for Development of National Races, and guests.
The Senior General and wife cordially met with those attended the dinner, and artists from the Myawady Entertainment Tropupe entertained the guests with songs before and during the dinner. Afterwards, in commemoration of the 77th Anniversary of the Armed Forces Day, many small drones were used to display the banners of the “77th Armed Forces Day”, the map and flag of Myanmar, symbols of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air), the saluting of the Senior General and launching of fireworks.
After the dinner, the Senior General and party awarded the military personnel who performed at the ceremony, cordially met with the attendees. Then, fireworks were launched.
The Senior General and the attendees were also entertained with live music performed by the famous national artists at Thabin Hall of Zeyathiri Beikman to the accompaniment of Myawady Entertainment Troupe, and bouquet were awarded.—MNA
