Union Foreign Affairs Minister receives Special Envoy of United Nations Secretary-General on Myanmar

The Special Envoy calls on the MoFA Union Minister yesterday.

U Wunna Maung Lwin, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar received Ms Noeleen Heyzer, Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General on Myanmar at 10 am on 17 August 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, the Union Minister stressed that it is necessary for the United Nations to constructively and pragmatically review its approach in its cooperation with Myanmar. He also explained the information on current developments in Myanmar.
The deputy minister and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also attended the meeting. — MNA
