Variety Show marking Diamond Jubilee Independence Day continues

The fourth day of the variety show marking Diamond Jubilee Independence Day 2023 continued at the open-air theatre of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall yesterday evening.
SAC Member U Shwe Kyein, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko, deputy ministers, officials from the Union-level organizations, military officers and wives, staff and families, and people enjoyed the show.
Artistes from the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare entertained the audience with various choreographed group dances, songs, traditional dances, and magic shows including a comedy show by comedians.
After performances, SAC member U Shwe Kyien awarded the basket of flowers, Union Ministers U Maung Maung Ohn and U Ko Ko gave cash awards and Deputy Information Minister Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun gave cash award offered by the people to artistes from the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare. The variety show was organized by the Diamond Jubilee Independence Day Celebration Steering Committee and the show will be held at the open-air theatre of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall between 6:30 pm to 11 pm until 30 November. — MNA
