The ground population census will be enumerated all over the country from 9 to 31 January 2023, said Union Minister U Myint Kyaing, Chairman of the Central Committee on Field Census Supervision, at the opening ceremony of the Central-Level Instructor Course of the Central Committee on Ground Census Enumeration.
Field survey work for the ground population census was managed by the Region Field Census Supervisory Committee, and other relevant departments, election commissions, the immigration department, social organizations and volunteers will participate in it.
In addition to correctness of the personal information of individual citizens, it is an important process for the State and so relevant authorities are urging people to cooperate with them. The demographic information obtained from the survey will also be installed in the e-ID software in 2023. It will also be conducted from 9 January to 10 February, according to the ground population census work committee. — TWA/KZW
