Myanmar set to host Korean Food Festival in March 2024

According to the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), arrangements are underway for the Korean Food Festival to be jointly held by CMS Korea and UMFCCI in Myanmar in March 2024.
UMFCCI General Secretary Daw Khine Khine Nwe and Joint General Secretary U Ye Myint Maung, Mr Yeom Duk Jong, a representative of CMS Korea and members on 18 September discussed holding the food festival at the UMFCCI building in Dagon Township, Yangon Region.
Around 200 small and medium-sized Korean businesses will be invited to participate in the Korean Food Festival. At the end of December this year, in Chungju City, representatives from the Chungju government and UMFCCI representatives will meet again to discuss the possibility of hosting the exhibition. — ASH/KZW
