State Peace Talks Team meets with five PPST member NCA signatories on third day

State Peace Talks Team and PPST member five ethnic armed organizations seen in third-day peace talks in Nay Pyi Taw on 28 June.

The State Peace Talks Team- SPTT separately held talks with five PPST member NCA signatories, yesterday morning at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw.
At the meetings, Chair Saw Mra Raza Lin led the delegation of Arakan Liberation Party-ALP, Vice Chairman Khun Tun Tin the delegation of Pa-O National Liberation Organization-PNLO, Vice Chairman Kya Phoo the delegation of Lahu Democratic Union-LDU, Saw Sein Win at the rank of Adjutant-General the delegation of Democratic Karen Benevolent Army-DKBA and Vice Chair Dr Naw Kapaw Htoo the delegation of KNU/KNLA-Peace Council.
During the meeting, both sides mutually discussed regional security, stability and development measures.
In the afternoon, the State Peace Talks Team-SPTT and five PPST member NCA signatory ethnic armed organizations continued to hold the third day of talks at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre.
After three days of negotiations, they signed the final agreements and exchanged them.
Next, Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and Chairman Saw Mra Raza Lin of Arakan Liberation Party-ALP, on behalf of the ethnic armed organizations, gave closing remarks. The books on Global Affairs, Myanmar Affairs, and Ethnic Affairs published by the Ministry of Information and gifts were presented to five PPST member ethnic armed organizations.—MNA/TS
