Starting yesterday morning, the 142nd South Sea Pearl Emporium commenced at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw with 700 pearl lots in an open tender system.
Starting in the morning, both local and foreign traders began to inspect the collections of pearls at the hall based on their preferences.
Then, the merchants placed the proposed price lists of pearls, which will be on sale, on 13 August in the tender boxes.
At 142nd Myanmar South Sea Pearl Emporium 2024, starting from 12 to 15 August, 175,000 pearls in 700 pearl lots will be sold with an open tender system at Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. Altogether, 230 pearl lots on 13 August, another 230 pearl lots on 14 August and 240 pearl lots on 15 August will be on sale for both local and foreign merchants with the US dollar. — MNA/TRKM
