Four million doses of COVID-19 vaccine from China arrive at Yangon International Airport

The fifth batch of 4mln Sinopharm vaccines arrives at Yangon International Airport yesterday.

The fifth batch of four million Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines purchased from the Sinopharm Company Limited of the People’s Republic of China for vaccination arrived at Yangon International Airport on 22 October.
Deputy Director-General of the Yangon Region Public Health Department Dr Tun Min and officials received the vaccines carried by the Air China Airplane A332, at the Yangon International Airport.
The first batch of 4 million of the COVID-19 vaccines arrived on 12 September while the second batch of another 4 million arrived on 26 September.
The third batch of 4 million also arrived in Myanmar on 2 October and the fourth batch on 15 October.
A total of 20 million vaccines, including the fifth batch that arrived yesterday, have been delivered. —MNA
