Free screening for the COVID-19 virus was provided to travellers in Kengtung Township on 17 January to reduce the rate of the pandemic infection as soon as possible, officials said.
In doing so, led by Township Administrator U Hlaing Maung Maung, health workers and officials urged travellers to enter Kengtung by following COVID-19 rules.
Information and necessary medical check-ups are also provided free of charge to control the pandemic.
