YESC limits power usage for businesses during matriculation exam period

During the time of 2023 matriculation examination from 1 to 20 March, the power production will be increased for students to be able to study at night. Thus, Yangon Electricity Supply Corporation-YESC stated industries and businesses do not use electricity between 5 pm and 10 pm. If power generation and consumption are not balanced, power outages may occur. Therefore, the businesses and industries in the wards and villages have been notified not to work using electricity between 5 pm and 10 pm from 1 to 20 March.
YESC has announced that if it is found that businesses and industries operate by using electricity during the stipulated time, action will be taken against them according to the administrative rules and regulations. — TWA/CT
