Asian qualifiers schedule released for Myanmar women’s U-20 team

The Myanmar Women’s U-20 team will play against the Cambodian team as the opening match in the first stage of the Asian Women’s U-20 qualifiers, which will be hosted by Cambodia.
The Pakistan women’s team, which originally participated in Group G, withdrew, and only the host Cambodia, Myanmar and Malaysia teams left.
The Myanmar national women’s U-20 team will face Cambodia at 3:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time on 8 March, and the Malaysian team at 3:30 pm Myanmar Standard Time on 12 March.
Eight teams that won the first-round qualifiers will be divided into two groups and continue to compete in the second-round qualifiers in June 2023.
Uzbekistan will host the 2024 Asian Women’s U-20 Championship. First, second and third-place teams will qualify for the 2024 FIFA Women’s U-20 World Cup.
Head coach Daw San San Thein will handle team Myanmar consisting of 30 players. — KZL
