Union Information Minister U Maung Maung Ohn in the capacity of Chairman of the Steering Committee on Myanmar Film Academy Award Ceremony, Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, Nay Pyi Taw Council Deputy Mayor U Maung Maung and officials reviewed preparations for the Myanmar Film Academy Award ceremony for 2019, 2020 and 2022 at the open-air theatre near City Hall yesterday.
Responsible officials explained matters concerning security issues, film recording and broadcasting programmes of the ceremony, the display of award-winning video clips, invitation, reception and catering, transport and communication, healthcare measures, media personnel, and construction status of the stage.
The Union minister responded that the Myanmar Film Academy Award Ceremony was planned to be held on 6 May so efforts should be made in order to ensure that there are no loopholes in all areas. As the list of artistes who will attend the ceremony has already been received, arrangements are underway for their accommodation, food and transport needs, he added.
