2023 basic, advanced maritime and air youth courses opened in relevant townships

For new generation youth to develop knowledge, make the most of holidays, and follow their hobbies during the summer vacation, and to turn out the future generation of maritime and aviation experts for the state, basic and advanced maritime youth courses, basic air youth courses (senior level), and basic air youth courses (junior level) were opened at training camps in the respective townships at the same time by Tatmadaw (Navy) and Tatmadaw (Air) on 24 April.
The coaches from Tatmadaw (Navy) are training 85 trainees at the Mawlamyine training camp in Mon State, 60 trainees at the Heinze training camp in Taninthayi Region, 97 trainees at the Inya training camp in Yangon Region, and 71 trainees at the Coco Island training camp. A total of 712 trainees are also being trained at 11 maritime youth training camps in respective townships.
Likewise, basic air youth courses (senior level and junior level) are being provided by the coaches of Tatmadaw (Air) to 40 trainees at the Taunggyi training camp in Shan State (South), 40 trainees at Pathein training camp in Ayeyawady Region, 40 trainees at Magway training camp in Magway Region, and 40 trainees at Meiktila training camp in Mandalay Region. A total of 680 trainees are being trained at 17 air youth training camps in respective townships.
The chief ministers of the respective regions and states and officials from the respective military commands visited the training sites and encouraged the youths. They also provided cash assistance to the trainees and trainers and fulfilled the requirements in coordination with responsible personnel. — MNA/CT
