Artistes donate food and cash to flood victims in Hlegu Township

Foodstuffs and cash assistance are provided to flood victims.

Bhone Yaung Hlyan film production industry went to Kalihtaw Village, Hlegu Township, Yangon Region, and donated food items and cash to flood victims on 18 October, according to the actress Saung Eaindray Htun.
A dozen packets of noodle for 200 flood victims and K10,000 was also donated to each person.
“I personally make donations to the Mocha and Bago flood victims. Now, I have donated packets of noodle to Kalihtaw Village with Ko Jack, the owner of Bhone Yaung Hlyan film industry. It’s not that I myself have a lot of money, but I love to do such kinds of small charities. I want to donate something, and someone who helps me to do so always appears. I’m delighted to join the donation together with Bhone Yaung Hlyan film production industry,” said actress Saung Eaindray Htun.
The actress and friends also donated cash to the Shwenantha relief camp and Bago General Hospital on 12 October. — ASH/KZL
