Cambodian Deputy PM Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation arrives in Myanmar

The Cambodian delegation led by Mr Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Head of the Office of the Special Envoy of the ASEAN Chair on Myanmar arrived in Yangon at 3:30 pm on 29 June through Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok, Thailand at.
U Zaw Phyo Win, Director-General of the Strategic Studies and Training Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director-General U Zaw Tun Oo of the Protocol Department, Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Chhouk Bunna and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Cambodia welcomed the delegation at the Yangon International Airport.
During the trip, the delegation team will try to ensure the implementation of the results of the Facilitation of the ASEAN Humanitarian Assistance Meeting that was held on 6 May 2022, the Five-Point Consensus of the ASEAN and will make great efforts to help political discussion through the meetings and implement the National Reconciliation Process peacefully for the internal conflicts of Myanmar, it is learnt. —MNA
