DPM MoTC Union Minister leaves for Russian Federation

SAC Member Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo seen before departing for the Russian Federation yesterday.

Member of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo, along with a delegation including the Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Union Ministers from the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Health, as well as senior officials and business representatives, departed for the Russian Federation yesterday evening.
They were invited by Mr Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation Executive Secretary of the Forum Organizing Committee, to attend the 27th St Petersburg International Economic Forum in St Petersburg from 5 to 8 June.
The delegation, led by the Deputy Prime Minister, was bid farewell by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Commander Maj-Gen Zaw Hein of the Yangon Command, officials from the Embassy of the Russian Federation to Myanmar, and department officials at Yangon International Airport. — MNA/TS
