The Ministry of Commerce and UMFCCI (Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry) jointly exported 2,700 tonnes of corn seeds by MV MCL-8 ship and another 2,700 tonnes of corn seeds by MV MCL-7 ship via MHM jetty to Thailand yesterday under the public-private partnership system.
Moreover, the MV Contrivia vessel will leave AWPT 1 jetty for Singapore, while the MV Iseaco Fortune vessel to Malaysia from AWPT 3 jetty carrying marine products, rice, beans, garments, forest products, sugar, sesame, corn, rubber and general items.
Similarly, the country will ship 25,000 tonnes of corn seed to the Philippines by MV Manta Hatice vessel via SPW 6 jetty on 10 April, while 12,700 tonnes to Thailand by MV Tay Son 4 from TMT jetty, 27,500 tonnes to India by MV Seiyo Harmony vessel from MIP 2 jetty and 2,700 tonnes to Thailand by MV. MCL 20 vessel from MHM jetty.
On 15 April, 14,500 tonnes of corn seeds will be exported to Thailand by MV DDS Marina ship via YIGT jetty. — MNA/KTZH
