MoI concludes training course 2/2022 on documentary video editing, photo shooting and news writing

The Ministry of Information held the closing ceremony of the training course 2/2022 on documentary video editing, photo shooting and news writing at the ministry’s assembly hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn highlighted the understanding of the importance, significance and depth of media by the trainees during the three-week training course, activities of the department along with the advancement of technology amid the fast information flow on social media, quality news video presentations and systematic records in reporting the news to the public via the media sector.
He also talked about the spreading of misinformation and false news by some media outlets for psychological warfare using media without any ethics.
He then urged trainees to apply knowledge, skills and experiences in providing proper news presentations with precise and accurate news, news photos and videos to the public.
Next, the Union minister and the deputy minister presented training certificates to trainees.
The three-week training course was attended by 46 trainees from 12 ministries and taught camera function, photo shooting steps, news video production, documentary video recording, news editing, news writing, online news writing style and do’s and don’ts for online news writers. — MNA
