Myanmar, Russia to deepen cooperation in power sector

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun received the delegation led by Mr Alexander Sergeevich Shatirov of Fund RC-Investments from the Russian Federation in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they cordially discussed the synergy between the two countries, the support of Russia in developing the electricity sector of Myanmar, the cooperation of Russian companies in solar energy and thermal power projects and bilateral cooperation with local companies in power projects.
