Myanmar to participate in 20th China-ASEAN Expo

Myanmar business people will participate in CAEXPO (China-ASEAN Expo) free of charge, which will be held in Nanning, Guangxi, China, said Vice-General Secretary Mr Shi Zuyao of China from the ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Secretariat while meeting with UMFCCI Vice-President Dr Win Sithu on 6 April.
He invited Myanmar business people to participate in the four-day 20th CAEXPO to be held in September.
The RCEP members countries like South Korea and Japan confirmed that they will join the expo and the ASEAN countries like Thailand, Viet Nam, Laos, Myanmar and Brunei also arrange to launch galleries, said Vice-General Secretary Shi Zuyao.
Myanmar participated in the 19th China – ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) with over 30 booths of gemstones, wooden furniture, agricultural products and food products.
The CAEXPO will include Business Matching in addition to opportunities for trading and business sector, according to UMFCCI.
The exhibition area will be 82,000 square metres and the expo will cover electronic information, new land-waterway outlets, cross-border e-commerce and new retails, cooperation for the conservation of the natural environment and new energy vehicles, according to Xinhua News Agency. – TWA/KTZH
