Myanmar workers despatched to South Korea under EPS are seen at Incheon Airport.

A total of 149 Myanmar workers were despatched to the Republic of Korea through the Employment Permit System (EPS), the Myanmar Embassy in Seoul stated on 9 May.
The labour attaché of the Myanmar Embassy in Seoul welcomed them at Incheon Airport when they arrived at Incheon Airport from Yangon International Airport and the labour attaché provided them with what they needed.
A total of 193 Myanmar workers were sent in January, 200 in February, 253 in March and 150 in April.
Those who want to work in Korea must be between the ages of 18 and 39, need to have a passport and attend a Korean language course for the language proficiency test. And they also need to pass the health test and must not be those who are banned from travelling abroad.
More than 210,000 workers have been despatched to foreign countries with OWIC cards within two years. — TWA/MKKS
