I am even more happy to have won the best player award and scored a hat trick for today’s match,” Myanmar star player San Thaw Thaw said at the press conference after the match. “It was only because our team was united and did not give up that we got the third place. Without the coaches’ training and my teammates, it would be impossible to score a hat trick like this. I am very proud and thankful to my teammates for today’s win,” San Thaw Thaw added. “Today’s victory of my players depended on the unity of the team. This result is mainly because the players were able to take lessons from the mistakes of the previous matches and rebuild themselves individually,” said Myanmar team head coach Daw Thet Thet Win. “Congratulations to the players. We still have a lot to do to improve Myanmar women’s football. We have to work harder for the players to become more professional. We must work together to have more players who can play internationally,” the coach added.
