SITE Thailand aims to revitalize Myanmar’s tourism industry

In a display of commitment to innovation, SITE Thailand, which is representing Thailand in the tourism sector, connected its global networking in the Let’s Go VACS Yangon Travel Fair 2023, held from 22 to 24 September 2023.
The strategic collaboration underscored SITE Thailand’s pivotal role in reshaping and revitalizing the tourism industry, marking a significant milestone in Myanmar’s tourism industry, as stated by the association.
Ms Punnaporn (Paula) Wongjunpen, President of the SITE Thailand, led the charge in organizing the seminar, “Keys to Success in Incentive Business”, which was a core element of this collaboration. Her expertise in Incentive Travel, with a wealth of experience in organizing events in both Myanmar and Thailand, contributed significantly to the seminar’s success.
Furthermore, an enriching panel discussion on “Medical Wellness Tourism” featured Dr Thiti Samuthrat, an esteemed SITE member, Committee member of the Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association, and chief partnership officer of ArokaGO. The overarching goal of these initiatives is to impart knowledge and motivation, empowering participants with the essential insights needed for the advancement and expansion of their tourism ventures within Myanmar.
