Tatmadaw provides COVID-19 vaccine to venerable monks

A senior monk is receiving COVID-19 vaccine jab at the military command.

COVID-19 vaccination was carried out to the venerable monks, civil services personnel and local residents in Taunggyi, Kalaw, Hopong, Hsihseng townships in Shan State; Loikaw Township in Kayah State; Nyaungdon, Kyangin, Pantanaw, Kyaiklat, Myaungmya townships in Ayeyawady Region; Aungmyaythazan Township in Mandalay Region; and Toungoo Township in Bago Region yesterday.
Tatmadaw medical specialists, doctors and nurses, along with civilian doctors and medical staff, have been providing the COVID-19 vaccination to people over 65, civil service personnel and ethnic nationalities including venerable monks in respective military commands. — MNA
