Top 30 matric students of 2024 embark on overseas excursion

Top 30 matric students are seen on their excursion in Singapore.

The government arranged an excursion abroad for 30 top-marked students in relevant subject combinations in the 2024 matriculation examination and their supervisors.
The group left Thailand for Singapore by flight on 11 August. Charge d’Affaires U Zaw Zaw Soe of the Myanmar Embassy to Singapore, Minister-Counsellor Daw San Yar Shwe Koe and embassy staff welcomed them at Changi Airport.
The tour group arrived at V Hotel Lavender at Jellicoe at 10:30 am Singapore Standard Time and enjoyed lunch at the food court. In the evening, they proceeded to the Myanmar Embassy and were welcomed with Pho Leng Lion Dance. Then, Charge d’Affaires U Zaw Zaw Soe explained the excursion and hosted a dinner.
Then, the group visited Merlion Park by train from Tangling to Ruffles Place MRT stations. — MNA/KTZH
