59th Myanmar Gems Emporium: 546 jade lots sold on Day 5

The fifth day of the 59th Myanmar Gems Emporium continued at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw, bustling with local and foreign merchants.
Throughout the day, merchants freely inspected the displayed gem lots at designated locations.
A total of 4,550 jade lots are being sold through the open tender system, with 950 jade lots already sold to local and foreign merchants. Of these, 546 were sold out yesterday.
Officials of the emporium will announce the sold jade lots at 8 am on 8 May after inspecting the proposed prices of the 950 jade lots to be sold on the sixth day.
Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Khin Maung Yi, who is also the patron of the Myanmar Gems Emporium, attended the event to support tender inspections.
The 59th Myanmar Gems Emporium will continue until 12 May, featuring the remaining jade lots. — MNA/TRKM
