The armed insurgents attacked the security members with heavy weapons in the Hpa-an Township of Kayin State on 18 May
It is reported that one vehicle was burnt, and two security members were injured.
The terrorists fired two 40MM grenades at the security members who conducted security measures at the inspection gate in Wah Boe Taw village of Hpa-an. The grenades exploded on Honda Fit parked near the entrance, and it destroyed a gun, bullets and vehicle. Moreover, two security members were injured and taken to the military hospital.
The security forces beef up security measures to arrest the terrorists who attacked the security members. — MNA
