Myanmar’s industrial product exports cross US$130M in 5 days

According to the Ministry of Commerce, Myanmar has earned a total of US$130.506 million from exporting finished industrial products within five days from the start of the new financial year.
Within that period, industrial product exports from the private sector generated US$72.434 million, and from the public sector, US$58.072 million. The figure is US$31 million higher if compared to the earnings in the same period last year, according to the statistics released by the Ministry of Commerce.
Myanmar exports garments and clothes, sugar, natural gas, and many others from the industrial sector, as well as agricultural produce, animal products, aquatic products, mining products, and forestry products. Among them, the country primarily earns from exporting industrial products.
Among the topmost export items of Myanmar, garments and clothes stand at the first position, followed by sugar, jewellery ornaments and natural gas. — TWA/TMT
