Over 32,000 people get vaccinated against COVID-19 in Dala

To prevent the spreading of COVID-19 in Dala, the township authorities designated a priority group for receiving the COVID-19 vaccines.
As of 8 November, a total of 32,278 people has been vaccinated, including full doses and single doses of vaccines. Besides, authorities from Dala township, have been administering COVID-19 vaccine shots to 3,067 middle and high school students aged above 12, according to the township COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee.
The vaccines were administered in line with the COVID-19 guidelines set by the Ministry of Health, and health awareness lectures were given to the vaccinated people.
Currently, the population aged above 40 is already included in the prioritized age group for COVID-19 vaccination and they are being administrated in four designated places.
The COVID-19 vaccinations for students are being carried out under the guidance of the township education department, with the assistance of the public health staff and township general administration staff and township education staff.
