Terrorists target schools with bombs, fire in Kanpatlet, Kawlin

As the funds provided from the instigators, terrorists have been targeting roads, government offices, and public places with homemade bombs and mines with the purpose of attacking administration officials who are working for the rule of law, and the people living in peace.
In doing such acts, they set fire on the Border Area Ethnic Youth Development Training School in Kanpatlet Township, Chin State, at around 4 am on 2 December. While inspecting the area, security forces found a building destroyed by fire at the scene.
Similarly, terrorists attacked the security forces on duty near the bridge in front of the No (1) Basic Education High School in Myokone Myoma ward, Kawlin Township, Sagaing Region, yesterday morning. A homemade time bomb was exploded and terrorists fired at the District Administration Office and the Township Public Hospital from the park on the other side. During the clash, two security personnel and the school guard were wounded and were transported to the Kawlin Township Hospital for medical treatment.
It is reported that security forces are investigating to identify the perpetrators and take action against them under the law. — MNA
