Rakhine State launches 1383 ME Central Myanmar Thingyan Pandal

Rakhine State government launched 1383 ME Central Myanmar Thingyan Pandal in front of the U Ottama Park in Sittway Township yesterday evening.
The ceremony was attended by State Administration Council member Daw Aye Nu Sein, Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr Aung Kaw Min, Commander of Western Command Maj-Gen Htin Latt Oo, departmental officials and dance troupes.
First, the Rakhine State Chief Minister delivered the greeting speech. Then, SAC member Daw Aye Nu Sein and officials cut the ribbon to launch the Central Maha Thingyan Pandal.
Then, the singers and dance groups performed, and the SAC members and officials threw water on them. Afterwards, the state cultural troupes, departmental and military dance troupes entertained the public peacefully during the Maha Thingyan Festival. —Tin Tun (IPRD)/GNLM
