World Teachers’ Day 2022 held in Nay Pyi Taw

The celebration of World Teacher's Day 2022 is in progress yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.

The ceremony to mark World Teachers’ Day 2022 was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Firstly, teachers from No 22 Basic Education High School Nay Pyi Taw sang the song titled “The Noble Teacher”.
Then, Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe read the message from SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing sent to the World Teachers’ Day celebration. Dr Kyi Shwin, Secretary-General of the Myanmar National Commission for UNESCO read the messages from the leaders of five organizations under the United Nations.
The Union minister presented prizes to the honourable persons. Deputy Minister Dr Zaw Myint gave excellence awards to teachers and Deputy Minister U Zaw Win gave presents to higher education teachers who won in the article competition of the World Teachers’ Day 2022.
The Union minister and attendees then observed the commemorative gallery of World Teachers’ Day 2022. — MNA
