The malicious Khit Thit media is fabricating news stories and circulating misinformation, claiming that the security forces in Aunglan township of Magway Region arrested about 60 visitors on Aunglan-Shwepantaw Road. They allege that those arrested were offered K5 million each for release, and those who could not pay were forcibly conscripted into the People’s Military.
A security official from the relevant location reported that this news was false and intended to discredit the security forces and mislead the public. The security forces did not arrest any visitors; it was merely propaganda spreading misinformation.
Subversive media outlets and individuals are intentionally spreading misinformation to disrupt public peace and tranquillity, especially since the enforcement of the People’s Military Service Law. — MNA/TRKM
