Drugs seized in Waingmaw, Mahaaungmyay and Lashio townships

A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force examined a motorbike driven by Myint Aung (aka) Aikekae at 13 kilogrammes combined checkpoint in Waingmaw township at 2 pm on 25 April and seized 9,500 stimulant tablets.
At 7 pm on 24 April, the Police Force examined a suspect by the name of Aung Kyaw Zaw (aka) Sit Min Chant who claimed the Parcel at the bus stop in Mahaaungmyay township and captured 2.018 kilogrammes of Happy Water.
At 6:40 pm on the same day, the Police Force searched the apartment of Li Haung in the No 1 ward of Lashio township and captured 0.88 kilogramme of Ketamine, 0.11 kilogramme of Ice and 2,970 Erimine-5 with MMK 400,000.
The suspects have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/MKKS
