SAC member meets teachers, locals in Hopan Township

State Administration Council Member U Yan Kyaw accompanied by Chairman of Wa Self-Administered Division Administration Body U Nyi Nap met residents and teachers at Basic Education High School of Kaungkaw village in Hopan township yesterday morning.
During the meeting, the member of SAC spoke to the parents of the students to let their sons and daughters learn education. Only when they are educated can they benefit the community and raise the standard of living. The school enrolment rate also should not be less then the previous year.
Then, he met locals, teachers and school board of trustees at Basic Education Primary School in Manmaing ward. In the meeting, he exhorted them to ensure that school-age children remain enrolled in school and to foster the emergence of educated individuals in the community.
