Electric vehicles arrive at Yangon Port

The photo shows newly arrivals of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) at Yangon Port yesterday.

With the approval of the Steering Committee on National-level Development of Electric Vehicles and Related Industries, a total of 36 electric vehicles — nine Honda ENS1 electric vehicles imported by Auto Top Power Co Ltd, six Faw Toyota BZ4X electric vehicles, six Kaiyi B-EV electric vehicles imported by Myanmar Brilliance Auto Co Ltd and 15 BYD Dolphin electric vehicles imported by the Chindwin Shan Construction Co Ltd — arrived at Yangon Port yesterday.
The vehicles were allowed to be claimed according to the procedures, and the import of these electric vehicles is exempted from customs duties. — MNA/CT
