DPM MoFA Union Minister receives Bangladeshi Ambassador

Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister U Than Swe and the Bangladeshi ambassador exchange handshake during the latter’s courtesy call yesterday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe received Dr Md Monwar Hossain, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the call, they cordially discussed matters on further enhancing the bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest between the two countries, as well as closer collaboration in maintaining peace and stability along the Myanmar and Bangladesh border. — MNA
