UEC Chair-led delegation leaves for Russia to study presidential election

At the invitation of the Chairman of the Central Election Commission from the Russian Federation, the delegation led by the Chairman of the Union Election Commission, U Ko Ko, left Mandalay by air yesterday evening to study the presidential election and the International Scientific and Practical Conference to be held in Moscow.
The Chairman of the Union Election Commission and members were seen off at Mandalay International Airport by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and regional government ministers, U Than Aung Kyaw, a member of the Union Election Commission, and officials from the Mandalay Region Election Commission branch office.
As the Union Election Commission, by studying the presidential election and attending the International Scientific and Practical Conference of the Russian Federation, there will be opportunities to share experiences, such as Russia’s election methods and election management methods. In addition to the opportunity to learn about the use of technology in the election, international election observers will have the chance to exchange views. — MNA/TS
