Admission of medical students to be cancelled unless they register

According to the Ministry of Health, if the 659 students, who have transferred to study at various medical universities under the Ministry of Health, do not report to their respective medical universities by 12 August, they will be removed from the admission list.
The names of 659 students who were allowed to transfer to vacant positions of the first year (5/2022) course at various medical universities under the Department of Human Resources for Health, Ministry of Health were announced on 2 August.
All these students passed their matriculation examination in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics subjects.
Among them, 65 were permitted to transfer to the University of Medicine (1) Yangon, 46 to the Medical University (2) in Yangon, 74 to the Medical University (Mandalay) and 21 to the University of Medicine (Magway), respectively.
Similarly, five students were permitted to transfer to Medical University (Taunggyi), 43 to the University of Dental Medicine (Yangon), and 52 students to the University of Dental Medicine (Mandalay).
In addition, 54 students had the opportunity to attend the University of Pharmacy (Yangon), 20 to the University of Pharmacy (Mandalay), 40 to the University of Medical Technology (Yangon), 34 to the University of Medical Technology (Mandalay), 73 to the Nursing University (Yangon), 56 to the University of Nursing (Mandalay) and 76 to the University of Community Health (Magway).
Students who have been admitted to various medical universities must register at the admitted universities from 3 August. The original score list, the 2020 matriculation certificate and National Scrutiny Card (original) must also be submitted and reported to relevant medical universities by 12 August, according to the Ministry of Health. — TWA/GNLM
