Advanced Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting Course conducted at Yangon International Airport

The Yangon Aerodrome Company Limited (YACL) reported on 4 October that a five-day advanced course on aircraft rescue and firefighting was conducted by the Airport of Thailand (AOT) at the Yangon International Airport.
The course was aimed at ensuring the safety of passengers and partnership companies as per the prescribed terms and conditions.
“It is believed that the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) team’s skills will be promoted and it will be able to deal with the various emergencies with more effective solution standards through the course,” said Mr Pedro Cavem, Chief Operating Officer from YACL.
The training lasted for five days from 25 to 29 September and a total of 30 employees from Yangon International Airport and Nay Pyi Taw International Airport attended it. — MNA/MKKS
