Closing, award-giving ceremony held for Myanmar-Russia Cadets Swimming Competition

Myanma Tatmadaw has been sending its members on mutual study tours, organizing friendly sports competitions and participating in international military sports competitions to further develop and strengthen relations with the militaries of foreign countries.
The opening ceremony of the Myanmar-Russia Cadets Swimming Competition, which was held with the aim of strengthening the friendship between the armed forces of Myanmar and Russia, was held on 14 March at the swimming pool of the Defence Services Academy in PyinOoLwin.
The cadets who won prizes in various competitions were presented with prizes by relevant military officers, and the programmes of the first day of the competition were concluded.
The second day of the swimming competition continued yesterday, and attendees watched the competitions between the cadets of the two countries.
Afterwards, the closing and award-giving ceremony continued and the cadets from the two countries who won prizes in various competitions were presented with prizes. A total of 12 cadets from Myanmar and 12 cadets from Russia participated in the competitions. — MNA/KZL
