Literacy initiatives scheduled for 40 days in select regions, states

According to the Ministry of Education, starting in December of this year, there will be 40-day literacy activities focusing on basic Myanmar language writing and reading and

reckoning conducted in select regions and states.
People living in these regions, states, and remote areas will receive instruction in both Myanmar, the official language, and reckoning.
The programme defines the target group as youth aged 15 years and older, adults, and the elderly.
The programme is scheduled for implementation in December 2023 in townships in Shan and Kachin states, as well as in other regions and states. — TWA/CT
