MoHT Union Minister welcomes TBAM delegation team

Union Minister Dr Htay Aung of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism met with President Mr Nuttaphong Visitkitchakarn of the Thai Business Association of Myanmar-TBAM and his delegation at the Nilar Meeting Hall of the MoHT yesterday.
During the conference, the Union minister said that Thailand is already operating its flights to Myanmar (Thailand-Yangon-Thailand) and comprising the sectors of economy, trade and investment between the two countries actively, for the purpose of mutual cooperation. As Thailand is the second largest investor in Myanmar in the hotels and tourism sector, he is looking forward to more investments from Thailand, the Union minister stated.
Afterwards, the TBAM openly discussed the action of the cooperation works for trade and investment of both sides, the issues about the accessibility of more Thai tourists and investors to Myanmar, the travel status of Thai tourists in Myanmar and the conditions for promoting economic cooperation between the two countries, with the Union minister. — MNA
