A discussion focused on preparations to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win and Representative of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to Myanmar Ms Noriko Takagi took place in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
They openly talked about permits for travel of foreign employees in Myanmar, arrival visa measures, the need for UN agencies to coordinate with the ministry in releasing the data on those who need humanitarian aid and the number of displaced persons to conform with the ground situation, sharing of information, and further cooperation between them. — MNA/TTA
