Myanmar Culture Booth shines at Laos’ Annual Tea Party 2023

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Myanmar National Culture Booth participated in the Annual Tea Party 2023 for the Female Diplomatic Community at the International Cooperation and Training Centre (ICTC) in Vientiane, Laos.
The Laos Women’s Union, along with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Laos, organizes this annual event to foster friendship and unity among women from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the diplomatic community.
The Annual Tea Party 2023 for the Female Diplomatic Community took place at the ICTC in Vientiane, Laos, on 17 November 2023. The Myanmar Embassy showcased a national culture shop, exhibiting gems-decorated paintings (made of Myanmar mineral jewel pieces), Myanmar golden embroidery, silvery embroidery images, purses, and traditional Myanmar food.
Madam Alouny Kommasith, the wife of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Laos, led the event. Female officers and staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, female ambassadors from the embassies based in Laos, the wives of the ambassadors, female diplomats, and the wives of diplomats, along with invitees, attended the Annual Tea Party 2023 for the Female Diplomatic Community. — ASH/TRKM
