Myanmar’s Representative attends ASEAN-UN Interface Meeting

Myanmar’s representative participated in the interface meeting between the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) and the United Nations, held at the ASEAN Secretary-General’s Office on 15 March, as confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
U Aung Myo Myint, the Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN, represented the country at the interface.
The annual event, led by Bovonethat Douangchak, the Permanent Representative of Laos to ASEAN, provided a platform for CPR members and UN delegates to review the ASEAN-UN Plan of Action.
During the meeting, ASEAN permanent representatives shared their insights on regional and international developments, while also discussing strategies for aligning the implementation of the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Furthermore, UN delegates offered their perspectives on their engagements in Southeast Asia. — ASH/NT
